“The Maine Association of Nonprofits hired Kim Parrott and SeaChange Resources to help a group of 20 emerging leaders working in the “local food movement” in Maine assess their leadership skills, strengthen peer relationships, and create leadership development plans. Kim did an excellent job administering the assessment, and providing an interactive training session, designed to help participants engage with their strengths and developmental opportunities – alone and together. The session as a whole served to strengthen the group, and the individuals who participated. Everyone left the session with a leadership development plan to guide their professional development. Kim is an excellent trainer, facilitator, program designer, coach, and we all enjoyed working with her.”

“We contacted SeaChange Resources to facilitate teambuilding in our department. We had become a group of individuals who had lost the ability to communicate with each other about difficult and thorny issues. Kimberly provided an open and safe opportunity for us to discuss these issues, helping the quiet ones to speak up, and encouraging the more outspoken ones to pause before reacting. She got each of us to understand and respect each other, which did not seem possible when we began. Our department has now changed from a tension-charged, walking-on-eggshells kind of environment to one of cooperation and collegiality. We would not have been able to do this ourselves. Having SeaChange Resources conduct these teambuilding sessions was the smartest decision we have made for improving our workplace.”

“SeaChange Resources has been an extraordinary asset to our organization. Kimberly Parrott possesses an outstanding ability to ‘level the playing field’ within groups of high-powered individuals while stimulating provocative discussion and maintaining focus on issues at hand. Through the creative, thoughtful design of our meetings, she has enabled us to not only identify the priorities that have contributed to the success of the Community of Concern, but most importantly to synthesize and develop actionable steps to help us reach our goals.”
