Coaching
Coaching is NOT advice, therapy or counseling. It is also not just for executives or athletes, but for anyone who wants to take a proactive positive step in their professional life.
Coaching CAN BE assessing & improving leadership effectiveness, identifying plans of action, examining work-life balance, addressing specific business projects or learning how to develop others through coaching.
Every coaching relationship is custom-designed. Coach and client are equal partners in addressing the client’s needs: while the client determines the agenda, the coach’s job is to facilitate the learning through listening and asking clarifying questions.
The coaching process may include any or all of the following:
- An introductory in-person meeting
- Personal assessments
- Interviews with the client’s supervisor, peers and direct reports
- Followed with a series of face-to-face or phone sessions over a six month period.
