We had become a group of individuals who had lost the ability to communicate with each other about difficult and thorny issues. Kimberly provided an open and safe opportunity for us to discuss these issues, helping the quiet ones to speak up, and encouraging the more outspoken ones to pause before reacting. She got each of us to understand and respect each other, which did not seem possible when we began.
